Manteo/Plymouth was a good game. Both teams put there best on the field and went at it all nite. Plymouth Vikings hold your head high you gave/played your best. Just came up short.

I know this is HS football thread. Saw MS volleyball highlights on WITN from last night. There have been many undefeated ms teams in all sports over the last 20 years in Pitt county. I have never seen MS highlights on WITN before. Just wondering is there a WITN connection to this team?

Be proud of the players that practice hard all season, give all of them encouraging words. Whether or not they are a jv or varsity player. If more than 11 players on the playing area, you receive a penalty. Each game we have a winner, so let us praise our team for their hard work and supportive of their untiring efforts. Stop blaming coaches and officials for doing their jobs and pray that none of the players.. get injured. See you at the football game and may the team that plays the best wins.

Now why would we want to add JV to help Vasity when if you could count you would have seen that we had about 38 player on the feild when Plymouth was warming up and I who can count counted 28 Manteo players when they were warming up and there was 28 names on the papers they pass out at the gate but when the game got ready to start Manteo had over 30 players on the field. Just so you're know

Just so YOU know, my son plays for Plymouth and they have added JV! I think I would know better than you! You sound like the parent of a bench boy, just sayin

South Creek 34 Northside 28 Northside came back from 15-0 and 22-12 at half to tie the game with just a few minutes left before south creek scored the game winning TD. northside had a different qb in the game than has been the last couple of weeks and offense looked much better. heard south creek was without their head coach for this game.

Your description of the game is very good other than the QB situation. Northside has played with the same QB all year with the exception of the Riverside game because he was "hurt".

Where's the Northside High School (Pinetown) score. I'm out of town and haven't heard anything about the game. I don't see it listed. Forgive me if I've overlooked it. Thanks.

Why is Northside/SouthCreek not mentioned? Just because our coach is worthless, that doesn't mean you have to ignore us. The players have heart... don't take it out on us because our coach doesn't!

I think the NHS head coach is a good coach, just a wrong fit for high school. He's a good guy and has a good heart. He does well with younger players and did very well when he was at Bath Elementary. Some college coaches go to the pros and find out they were better at the college level. If you're passing blame, the administration makes the call on who's the coach. I'd keep my job too if there was no pressure to leave.
