Greenville Woman Jailed For Perjury During Attempted Murder Trial

Makevia Williams of Greenville will serve 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of perjury in Martin County Superior Court.
Williams identified Darryl Speller as the man who attempted to murder her then boyfriend Lamone Harrison.

Officials say Williams did not testify truthfully during Speller's trial.
The court dismissed the case against Speller because of Williams perjury.
