Greenville Vehicle Shootings Don't Appear To Be Related

A series of vehicle shootings in Greenville are under investigation, but officers say they do not believe they're all related.

The three shootings happened within hours of each other and within a three mile radius.

According to the Greenville Police reports, the first happened Friday night at the 1200 block of Davenport Street. A second shooting happened a few blocks away on South Memorial Drive in a parking lot. And a third happened on Roosevelt Avenue not far from the 5th street police substation.

Sergeant Carlton Williams says there's no evidence the shootings are related and there were no injuries reported.
