Cherryville, NC -- The Greenville Tar Heel 11-12 year old baseball team beat Bull City 7-0 on Wednesday to finish bracket play unbeaten and head to Friday's State championship game.
Tar Heel will play a yet to be determined team friday night at 6pm for the right to be called State champions and head to the Southeast Regionals. Since Tar Heel went undefeated in bracket play they must beaten twice by their opponent. An "if needed" game will be played Friday night at 8pm.

Holton Ahlers tripled in the top of the seond with the bases loaded clearing the bases and giving Tar Heel a 4-0 lead.
Holton Clifton got the win on the mound for Tar Heel.
The Southeast Regional Tournament will be played in Warner Robbins, Georgia with the winner of that tournament claiming a birth in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
1998 was the last time a team from the city of Greenville won a trip to the Little League World Series. That team made it to the semi-finals, where they lost to eventual champion, Toms River, New Jersey.
