Greenville Police To Hold Public Discussion Of Partnerships

The Greenville Police Department would like to hear what you think about police-community partnerships.

The department is holding a discussion session Monday, January 3. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at City Hall.

The department is working with Dr. Stephen Straus, co-owner of Developmental Associates, to facilitate the discussion.

The department is looking for feedback from citizens of Greenville, residential and business owners, and other interested community stakeholders.

The department reports "this forum is part of a larger evaluation process that includes input from members of the Greenville Police Department and the community. The final part of the process will be a detailed training program for all police employees that identify areas that were addressed at the employees and citizen forums."
