Greenville Natural Gas Rates Dropping Again

If you live in Greenville and heat your home with natural gas here's some good news. Natural gas prices are dropping.

Greenville Utilities says effective today residential customers will be a decrease of approximately 3.4%. That means a typical customer using 75 ccf of gas would see a drop of $2.93 in their monthly bill.

GUC says wholesale natural gas prices have continued to decline because of an increasing supply and lower demand. Since August 2008, GUC has cut rates 10 times, for a total reduction of about 44%.
