Greenville Woman Facing 108 Charges In Pain Killer Fraud Scheme

A Greenville woman is facing 108 counts of obtaining property by false pretense in a prescription drug fraud scheme.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office arrested 33-year-old Vinia Armaos of Brasswood Court on Tuesday.

Deputies say the woman had called in fake prescriptions for the pain killer Tramadol to several Pitt County pharmacies since 2008.

Her bond was set at $500,000.
