A Greenville man is accused of breaking into his girlfriend's home over the weekend by breaking out a window.
Pitt County deputies have charged Domonick Barrett of Greenville with first degree burglary and assault.
They say Barrett broke out a window of a home on Fairmont Avenue, and tried to climb in his girlfriend's bedroom while she was doing homework.
Jasmine Spruill was cut during the domestic assault, while they say Barrett got a television off the dresser and threw it at Spruill and her mother.
When deputies arrived, Barrett had already left. The 29-year-old man was caught Sunday morning at his home on O'Farrell Avenue.
Barrett was jailed on a $250,000 bond, while the 20-year-old Spruill was treated at Vidant Medical Center for her injuries.

Deputies at the Pitt County Jail told WITN that 26-year-old Domonick Barrett was arrested Sunday morning for first degree burglary and assault inflicting serious bodily injury.
