A 2 vehicle wreck in Greenville Friday night left a car crashed into a utility pole and sent the driver of that car to the hospital.
Greenville police say an Expedition SUV collided with a Mazda 3 sedan on Greenville Boulevard near Evans Street at 11:08 p.m. Friday sending the car crashing into a utility pole in front of the Safelite AutoGlass business.
Officer Fred Gorham says the woman driving the car was taken to the hospital. He didn't have details on her condition early Saturday morning. He says the driver of the SUV is charged with an unsafe moving violation after trying to change lanes and running the car off the road.
The wreck slowed traffic on Greenville Boulevard for nearly 2 hours.
