A cold front will sweep through eastern North Carolina producing a few light showers Tuesday night. By Wednesday morning clouds will move rapidly away giving us plenty of sunshine in the afternoon. Cooler temperatures will move in with highs struggling into the upper 50s despite the sunshine. Chilly temperatures can be expected Wednesday night as high pressure builds over the area. Thanksgiving Day will feature highs in the lower to middle 60s with partly cloudy skies. A stray shower can't be ruled out but most of the day should be dry and pleasant.
