I for one am tired of vacuous political chatter. It is time to clean up this state, get busy and make some changes that actually mean something. A good start would be to tighten up the LLC laws, set national precedence with our laws and lead the nation in protecting North Carolina business men and women from corporate predators from out of state who come here under the guise of "helping" when instead they appear to bleed companies dry and waste experienced, professional personnel, financial and economic resources, clog up our courts, further damage our county coffers then move on. Please do not come to my town, look concerned and caring, hold warmly onto my hand and tell me you need my vote and my money to get re-elected so WE can accomplish things TOGETHER. And, please do not tell me for the gazillionth time that you are the first woman governor and your momma and daddy did not even graduate from high school. I do not care about that. You wanted the job - now do it. Enough with the CHATTER - do something, Madam!

NC has been ranked as one of the ten poorest states in the nation. Now there is something she can run for re-election on.

Perdue has to go! North Carolina needs a Governor that can do the job. Old Mother Perdue has proven to us that she has no business being Governor.

Here is something you will not see in 2012. Bumper stickers saying, "Re-elect Bev." Small town economic success. At Martin Community College. MCC is one of the worst Community Colleges in the state. They only care about numbers not quality. Many of the students are only there for the Pell Grant money. As soon as they get their check, they leave. There are some great people working at MCC but the senior leadership could care less. Today they will put on their best face and make speeches about how important the employees are, and then ignore them until some other event comes up. Get rid of the the MCC president and her cronies.

You are so right. That president at mcc must be fired, replaced, removed, etc. she laughs and grins in the big dogs face but will cut an employee's throat in a heart beat. and that board of directors.. OMG!! mcc should have been closed and turned into a county high school or maybe even a middle school!!

Consolidate with Pitt CC or Beaufort CC. The continuing education is also a joke. The dean of continuing education only cares about numbers. All he worries about is making himself look good.

Tired of TALK, people want ACTION! No need to come here and talk about economic success in our small town because it isn't happening. She's been talking since she's been in office and I have yet to see her do anything positive for Williamston. Just another sinking ship Tier One county if you ask me. She's gotta go!!!!!

Just what do you think a governor is supposed to be doing?!?! "Talk" IS her action, she can't rule the state by executive decree, she has to convince you losers to vote for smart legislators, and to support positive policies for job creation. You're obviously a right-winger who has NEVER liked Perdue or any Democrat, but you just get on these forums and gripe, gripe, gripe. Tell us, what would YOU do if you were governor?

You do realize that in 2010 the Republicans won a majority of both houses of the state legislature for the first time since 1898, that's over one hundred years of Democrat policies. So any problems we are facing today in NC have been caused by the Democrats, and anyway what has Bev done other then lie thru her teeth, oh right, nothing other then blame Republicans.

I use to like Perdue and I've been a life long Democrate! And I understand that governing is a joint effort. But she is suppose to be the head of the state and the leader and she just ain't doing the job she was elected to do.Its just that simple. I voteds for Bev...sure did! But you can bet your last dollar that I will not be voting for her again! P.S. sometimes it's good to gripe.
