Four Hospitalized After Head-On Collision

According to Highway Patrol three people and a child were hospitalized after a head-on collision in New Bern Sunday night.

Trooper Magana says a Kia was going westbound on Spring Garden Road around 5:45 p.m. when the male driver went left to center and struck a Lexus traveling eastbound head-on.

Magana says the female in the Lexus was transported to PCMH. Meanwhile the male driver and female passenger in the Kia were also taken to PCMH, and a 20-month-old child was taken to Craven Medical Center. He says the child suffered a fractured arm.

No word yet on their conditions.

Troopers are still investigating and charges are pending, but Magana says he doesn’t believe alcohol was involved.

Don, if it were my family, I would like to hear news like this from MY FAMILY , not the news media. Give them time to notify relatives and then they will post names. a little patience goes a long way.

Seems worthless to report this stuff if you aren't going to use names.... whats the point?
