Courthouse, Three Other Buildings Hit By Gunfire

The SBI is helping to analyze evidence found after four buildings, including the Pamlico County Courthouse, were hit by gunfire.

Damage to the courthouse, the Bayboro town hall, and Little Italy Pizza and Subs in Alliance were discovered Monday morning. Habitat for Humanity of Pamlico County then found gunshots in their building this morning.

Sheriff deputies says several shots hit each building, while no one was injured. At least two bullets went through windows in the west wing of the courthouse.

Authorities believe all four cases are related and say they have suspects in mind, but so far no one has been arrested.

The vandalism was discovered the same day a fake bomb was found outside the Wayne County Courthouse in Goldsboro.

This was simply a group of people (probably 16-25 years old) that were probably out drinking and thought it would be funny to shoot some buildings. I don’t think it was a political assault or anything like that! Random ignorant boredom! Everyone quit trying to make a Nuclear Bomb out of a firecracker! It is what it is.

Lavon, are you kidding? Tea Party members are too busy working and earning a living so they can pay taxes to support those that commit these sorts of crimes.
