Four Men In Custody After Police Find Nearly $40,000 Worth Of Cocaine, Marijuana

Four men are in custody, after deputies found about $40,000 in drugs during a search.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit recovered the drugs from 992 Elm Street in Belhaven.

Investigators found 253 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of nearly $38,000. They also found 91 grams of high-grade marijuana, which is worth about $1,800, as well as $1,400 in cash.

Deputies say James McCabe, David Topping, Michael Sutton and Vincent Slade are each facing drug charges related to the search. They were placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center under varying bonds.
