With the teams Creswell High School puts on the field, can you imagine the program they would have if they were 2or3 times their size, which they could and still maintain their 1A status which they could easily do. When you beat up on them that just says you beat a group of kids with a lot of heart.

Another amazing game for Havelock. Let the haters continue to hate - you guys are playing terrific football. It is a true team effort!

Creswell you will always be a champion in my heart. I wish that the smaller schools did not have to play schools with bigger student population. It is very unfair. As a Washington Co. native, I wish Plymouth much luck in the play offs.

Bernard, who else is Creswell going to play? There aren't many high schools with 25 kids per grade in the state. Maybe Creswell should just shut their program down if their fans are going to complain about how big the schools are they play.

Do like the small schools in Texas-6 man football. It is like Arena, but outdoors. Out there, they typically drive 120-200 miles to play a game. Given that teams in NC won't travel more than 50 miles to play a game (except playoffs), that would not work here.

We drive 110 miles to play Hatteras. We're not scared to play the big teams. We beat Northside and only lost to Southside by 4. There was no shame in losing to Plymouth.

What are your suggestions have a Tideland Half A state champion. You already play everyone in your league 3 times.

they dont even have enough players to play both sides of the ball with subs .....its the nature of the beast though with small schools , last year they went undefeated until they played plymouth , why because plymouth can rotate players all game long . Im not complaining just stating a fact . Keep your heads up Tigers

What Coach Rodgers does with that small team is a miracle. No shame in losing to one of the best teams in 1A. The score was 20 14 in the 3rd... Alot of big schools wete losing by 40 at halftime to the Vikings. Love my Tigers.

Those Tigers.... my hat off to them and the coaches. Can anyone see what should've been? Plymouth/Creswell combined coaches/players/teachers New School on highway between Roper/Holy Neck. Our kids/community deserves that. Vikngs work hard/listen to coaches/teachers this week. Always proud of our Wash. Co. Kids
