A home is believed to be a total loss after a morning fire in Craven County.
The first call came in around 7:50 a.m. on Mill Avenue in Vanceboro.
The fire chief says everyone who lived at the home was at work when the fire broke out. He said it started in the back part of the house, while the cause is still under investigation.
Fire crews from Vanceboro, Little Swift Creek and Fort Barnwell fought the blaze. There were no injuries.

Dispatchers say the fire is at 321 Mill Ave. in Vanceboro. The fire started at approximately 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Fire appears to have reached the attic in the single story frame home.
Dispatchers said three three fire departments were dispatched to help fight the flames.
