Several units of an office complex in Jacksonville were destroyed by an early morning fire. Now an SBI K-9 unit is assisting in the investigation of how the fire began.
Four of the ten units at 825 Gum Branch Road were heavily damaged in the fire that was discovered around 5:15 a.m.
The fire has forced all business in the building to shut down. One of those, Beasley Broadcasting, just moved in last Thursday. In addition to Beasley, Coxe Law Firm, Southern Trust Management, and NC Comfort Systems were in those units.
Firefighters are still investigating to find out in which unit the fire began. No one was injured in the fire.
