Vidant Medical Center tells WITN that 69-year-old Liddie Harrington of Williamston is in fair condition.
Troopers say the woman was involved in a wreck in Martin County Sunday afternoon.
Highway Patrol Troopers say that a Martin County woman was pinned inside her vehicle, before being airlifted.
Troopers say that 69-year-old Liddie Harrington of Williamston was driving westbound on Smithwick Creek Church Road, when she ran off the road to the right colliding with the ditch. Troopers say her vehicle continued driving in the ditch until it went airborne and landed on its roof.
Griffin Township Fire Department and Williamston Fire Department responded and eventually pulled Harrington from the back of the vehicle.
Troopers described Harrington's injuries as appearing non life threatening, but she was flown by East Care to Vidant Medical Center.
