Father And Son Arrested For Manufacturing Marijuana

A father and son have been arrested after Pitt County deputies say they found 21 marijuana plants with a street value of $42,000 behind their home outside of Grifton.

Officials say 25-year-old Bobby Wallace and 60-year-old Bobby Bright have been charged with manufacturing marijuana.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit found the marijuana plants behind the home on Norman Drive on October 6th after an anonymous tip.

Both Wallace and Bright are in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.

Local law enforcement is all about beating up ECU students at games and busting non violent horticulturists instead of arresting dangerous criminals. Legalize pot, tax it, and eliminate budget deficits at state and national levels.

I don't think you "manufacture" a weed that can just grow. For you bible belt freaks. Read your bible, start with Genesis 1-11, God said "use the herbs, bearing seeds, for it is good."

Beer, wine and hard liquor has killed people throughout history. Drunks killing others, killing themselves, etc.

You know it don't matter what law enforcement does, this crowd of folks on this blog is never satisfied. They can arrest murderers, thieves, drug dealers etc. It don't matter someone has always got something negative to say. You should be thankful that there are still good men and women out there to willing protect and serve this state. GREAT job Pitt County Sheriff's Office and all the surrounding county LEO that work hard everyday.

The real criminal here is the government. While they take legal bribes from pharmacuetical companies and are able to tax and keep anything that comes with thier policy , we are at a roadblock. But hey, ask any kid where thier first experience with drugs came from and I'll bet overwhelming odds are that it came from a prescription. Wether thier own or thier parents.
