Plymouth police arrested a father and son duo after they said the pair opened fire into a car filled with people.
Neighbors called police about someone shooting at kids in a driveway at 111 Roanoke Ave. around 10:40 p.m. Saturday, March 15. That home is just blocks away from Plymouth High School.
Officers arrested James Gallagher, 58 and Robert Gallagher, 21 of 107 Roanoke Avenue.
Officers said the shooting stemmed from an argument between Robert and two of three victims inside the vehicle.
Investigators said after the argument Robert went home where a few minutes later he and his dad came back outside their porch armed with shotguns where they began shooting at the 2000 Jeep Cherokee parked at 111 Roanoke Avenue.
The jeep was hit several times along with another car parked in the driveway. The three victims in the Jeep were not injured.
According to officials, Robert Gallagher was charged with one count of discharging a weapon into occupied property, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of injury to personal property and one count of discharging a firearm in the city limits. He is being held on a $12,000 secured bond.
James Gallagher was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon, and one count of discharging a firearm in the city limits. He is in jail under a $1,000 secured bond.
Both men were placed in the Washington County Detention Center.
