UPDATE: Victim Identified in Fatal New Bern Crash

The Highway Patrol has released the name of the woman killed Thursday night in a single-car crash.

New Bern resident, Deborah Moore, 55, died in a crash on Clermont Rd. near Terminal Rd.

The Highway Patrol says Moore was traveling north of Clermont when she ran off the road to the left and collided with a concrete driveway embankment.

The Highway Patrol is investigating a fatality from a single car crash in New Bern.

Troopers say a person was killed on Clermont Rd. near the intersection with Terminal Rd., which just outside the Coastal Carolina Regional Airport. The Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at 10:30 p.m.

Dispatchers could not confirm the name of the victim overnight. We will update you as soon as we can.

    I know it's been a few years since the new airport terminal was built, but if you've never driven through there (since the change), in the dark, your brain can betray you. The first time I went through there at night, I nearly missed the road.

      yes, theres a very dangerous curve on that road--scary in the dark!
