Family Offers Reward In Unsolved Murder

It's been ten months since a man was shot to death inside his home on Reedy Branch Lane in Greene County and his family says they are desperate and determined for answers.

Thirty-year-old Johnny Albritton Junior was killed back in May in what Greene County Sheriff's Deputies are calling an ambush style shooting.

According to reports, Albritton was getting ready to go to a party while his friend, 19-year-old Dewyer Freeman waited outside in the car. Freeman told police that at least one gunman came out of nowhere and started shooting. When police arrived, Albritton had died after suffering fourteen gunshot wounds. Albritton was also shot.

Albritton's sister Felicia says, "We just want answers. The family is still mourning because we just want to know who did it. I know in my heart of hearts that somebody knows what happened."

The Albritton family is now offering a reward to anyone who has information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder of Johnny Albritton.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office declined to comment on the case, but say it is still under investigation.

If you have any information on the death of Johnny Albritton Junior you can contact crimestoppers and remain anonymous.
