Whaaat? What have you been smokin??? WITN has shown their pics numerous times as well as other news outlets! What rock you been hinding under?? And my exsperience with a lot of homeschoolers is they r trying to hide something from everyone or don't educate them like they should gives the people who do homeschool like they should a bad name! Considering the background of the father AND mother maybe this is something that should b checked once again this child isn't dealt a short hand or made to suffer anymore. There's more than meets the eye for those of you who don't know the rest of Charles lil family! As a teacher it saddens me many families us homeschool as a way of making Sure the child doesn't say the wrong thing or from someone seeing something they don't want seen!!

Since there was not a Reply button to the post from Anonymous regarding the age of the named "child". Yes, the 18 yr old is legally considered an adult. But, as a previous poster commented, he is still in public school & subject to ridicule from other students and other children in the community. Children can be cruel & obviously, they can be just as cruel as adults. I repeat that 18 year old is in school. As opposed to the other mother's children I have heard that the youngest child is "home-schooled"... therefore, SHE will not be subjected to ridicule from other children (as her mother is already sheltering her from that type of environment). It all still comes down to lack of common sense. Yes, she did have all of those remarks removed. And I appreciate that she finally decided to "take the high road" in this situation. But, my nephew's name never should have been listed in HER comments whatsoever. My sister chooses to stay off of this site & is handling this situation for her son in her own way. Angel had no right to "defend" my nephew or my sister without discussing that with my sister in the first place. Now, please people... will you move on to the next sensational story to gossip about & let this go? Thank you for your consideration.

I am the sister of the "other mother"-the one who realized her mistake in naming the 18 year old child who is still in school. Many, including my sister, have demonstrated how wrong that was. So please let's just all let that go. But you are so wrong about my sister's daughter being "sheltered" just because she is homeschooled. Her daughter had indeed already been subjected to public pain and ridicule by both other children as well as insensitive adults. Yes, kids can be crues-but as we are seeing and as you said as well, so can adults. My sister and her kids live in the real world too--you are obviously not familiar with what it really means to homeschool. Her daughter is around other children constantly, so no--her daughter has not been sheltered at all. In fact the precious child is having tremendous problems with all this. My sister's eldest child is also--not in the same way as the other brother's son--still being treated abusively by peers nonetheless and he also is in a lot of pain. And he doesn't have his mother's constant presence to help him. The simple truth is, that all these children are suffering enormous pain and ridicule for the mistakes of the fathers. And I agree we should all just drop this. I also agree this is all rooted in lack of common sense--the common sense of all the other people who are continuing to post up here and be disrespectful and insensitive to all the families involved in this. You are also right that my sister did not have any "right" to defend any other person except those in her household--she has proven that she agrees with that as well. So why not let us all do as you suggested and let this go so each branch of the family can deal with all this and the fallout, and hopefully all can find some peace? My branch of the family is praying for your branch of the family as well, and let us try to show a unified front now and just pray all this stops for all our sakes, ok?

REALLY? You still haven't corrected your error on this headline? Sad, sad. You're "journalists" and I use that term loosely, as you apparently didn't do well in your English classes and yet you still have a COMMUNICATIONS job. LEARN HOW TO WRITE AND SPEAK CORRECTLY! Geesh. (Dare you to post this.)

Why do u keep bringing this up?? She NEVER named her own kids!the only other names she said was that of other posters. So please let's leave her alone! She hs enough to deal with now. If u know so much why don't u ask her? And the child in question is still in school and subject to picking and ridicule oviously u don't have kids or u would know how damaging this could really b.Bless her heart she herself as a mother even realized her mistake and did a great deed and her as well as WITN tried to fix it. Once again u oviously don't have all ur facts straight. And I would like to publically commend Angel and WITN for trying to make it better! People r slamming WITN and they r the ONLY ones who have said nothing other than a truthful new story!Sticking with them as my favorite news station and God bless and praying for everyone.Just please people don't post what u don't know to b exact truth!!It can cause damage to truley innocent people as well as making the poster look ignorant.

Yes, she did name her own kids--I saw it. And yes, she named the other 18 year old child by name as well--which she and others have said was WRONG. She even admitted that herself and took steps to show remorse. No one has said that the other 18 year old child was not in school, and that is one of the main reasons she should not have mentioned the child by name. We have all admitted the mistake on her part. But she did name her kids. Many people saw that post before she took them all down.
