FARMER: Tractor Roll Bar Saved My Life

An elderly Jones County farmed says his tractor's roll bar saved his life after an accident this morning in Trenton.

Harold Hargett says he was mowing his 23 acre field when his tractor fell into a ditch, burying it and trapping his leg under the wheel. The 85-year-old man says he was trapped for about ten minutes before he was able to free himself. A neighbor called 911 and the victim was sitting on the tractor wheel when they arrived.

For Hargett this is the second time he's had a roll over in a tractor, the other a couple of years ago. The elderly man was not seriously injured in today's accident.

that's my grandfather right there he's one crazy ass old man that loves moving his grass. I've also come to the conclusion that he is immortal because not only does he survive that he survived cancer, going to war, and a brain tumor. That man is invincible.
