Eastern Carolina Storm Damage Reports

Storm damage has been reported in several counties.

Damage Reports:

Lenoir County, near Pink Hill: 1-inch hail.
Pitt County, near Farmville: .75-inch hail.
Duplin County, near Teachey: Trees down.
Duplin County, near Warsaw: Trees snapped in a 150+feet wide path approximately .5 miles long at hog farm.
Duplin County: Turkey barns and outbuildings damaged, trees down near Highway 902 and Halls Pond Rd.
Craven County, near Fort Barnwell: Trees and power lines down on Belltown Road.
Roper, Washington County: Power lines and trees down.
Edenton, Chowan County: Barn damage.
Plymouth, Washington County: Tree down on porch on Main Street, tree down on garage.

    Again, we were blessed! The storm that caused so much devestation in Alabama and Georgia weakned by the time it reached us. It was scary around 5:00 as an apparent tornado went over Plymouth. Prayers going out to those folks and for our neighbors in Bertie County still trying to recover from the last storm.

    My fence and the neighbors fence was heavily damaged! There are alot of trees down! There was a sudden burst of high winds that lasted for about 30 seconds! At least we had no injuries!

    there are tree down in cape coloney and some small damage here. Looks like something came by here not sure what.

      There are trees down and we lost power in cape coloney. looks like something came by here not sure what.
