ECU Grad Wins Reality Art Show & $100,000

An ECU grad grabs national attention as the winner of the Bravo television show "Work of Art".

ECU graduate Kymia Nawabi took home the $100,000 prize in Wednesday's finale on Bravo networks show called "Work of Art, The Next Great Artist.

Nawabi faced stiff competition from eighteen other contestants.

Professor Scott Eagle was Kymia's professor since her sophomore year at ECU's art college. He has Kymia's artwork on his walls at home and in his office. He says he's not surprised by her success since graduating in 2003

In addition to the $100,000 prize Kymia will also have a solo show of her work at the Brooklyn Museum.
