GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina officials have announced that Saturday's Conference USA baseball game between East Carolina and UCF at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium has moved to an 11 a.m. (EST) start due to potential inclement weather in the area.
The Pirates (22-11, 4-5) and Knights (21-12, 3-6) will open the series today, April 15 with a 6 p.m. (EST) first pitch schedule. Seth Maness (4-3, 2.40 ERA) will take the mound for ECU, while Ben Lively (5-0, 2.44 ERA) will go for UCF.
This weekend's series has also been designated as Military Appreciation Weekend. Any active or retired military personnel and their families can receive half-price admission all weekend. Ticket prices are $3 for adults and children (12 and under) are free. The baseball team will wear a special military edition hat on Saturday, April 16 that will be available for fans to purchase at the Dowdy Student Stores Souvenir Booth.
Children are also encouraged to visit the First Flight Credit Union Customer Service Booth to receive a free complimentary gift bag.
