Dry And Chilly Through Thursday Across Eastern North Carolina

High pressure across the Midwest will move slowly into western North Carolina providing excellent cooling conditions. Clear skies, dry air and diminishing winds will enable overnight lows to dip into the lower 30s inland and upper 30s on the beaches. Sunny skies will take the edge off the chill by Thursday afternoon as highs reach the middle 50s in most communities. Sunny skies will continue on Friday with a slight warming trend.
