The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles driver license office in New Bern will be closed Wednesday, June 15.
Work is being done to replace an electric power pole. The office, at 2106 Neuse Boulevard, will reopen for business on Thursday, June 16, at 8 a.m.
Officials say power to the building will have to be cut off during the construction. Driver license examiners who regularly work in the New Bern office will work in other nearby driver license offices for the day.
Other nearby driver license offices open during the closure are on Memorial Drive in Greenville, on Miller Boulevard in Havelock and on West Vernon Avenue in Kinston.
