Deputies Arrest Woman For Stabbing Man In The Back


A domestic argument turned violent, leaving one man with a knife wound in his back.

The Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office arrested 33-year-old Romaine Perry late Sunday morning.

Deputies say they received a call about a stabbing in the 900 block of Old Foreman Bundy Road in Elizabeth City.

The victim told deputies that Perry had stabbed him in the back during an argument. He had a one-inch wound in his lower back. We're told his injuries are not life-threatening.

Perry was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

The 33-year-old woman was held on a 48-hour hold before making her first court appearance.
