A juvenile is facing charges, after deputies say he wrote a bomb threat on a bathroom wall at school.
The Currituck County Sheriff's Office received a report of a bomb threat at Currituck County High School on Tuesday morning.
Deputies began an investigation concerning the threat, which sent numerous deputies to the school along with an explosive detecting K-9 to clear the building.
The suspect is a juvenile under the age of 16, so deputies say they will not be identified. The minor has been charged with making a false report concerning a destructive device at a public building.
