DEPUTIES: Hospital Call Leads Investigators To Meth Lab

Deputies in Currituck County said a hospital call landed them at a home with all the makings of a meth lab.

On Sunday, deputies said Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City called after a man came in with severe burns, but did not want to disclose anything about the nature of his injuries.

Deputies said once they found out where the burned man lived, they went to the home and found evidence of a meth lab.

The name of the injured man has not yet been released.

No word yet on any arrests.
