School may be out for the summer, but deputies say that didn't stop three high school students from helping themselves this morning. It was all caught on camera.
Deputies say a Jones Senior High School teacher called the school's resource deputy at home this morning to say she had just watched three students break into the school on closed circuit television. The teacher, who was there for summer school, told the deputy the trio was in the process of taking items from the school.
Moments later deputies arrived and saw the men on the video as they stuffed items into their bags. The three were quickly arrested after taking electronics, clothing and candy from the school.
Torrance Crouell of Trenton, along with brothers Gary and Tyler Koonce of Trenton were charged with felony breaking or entering and felony larceny after breaking or entering. The three were jailed on $10,000 bonds.
The teacher told deputies this wasn't the first time that she's caught the three in the school outside of normal school hours without permission, but obviously witnessing them stealing from the school was a first.
