I saw the girl at the Country Mart. She was parked at the front door and she was asleep with her mouth wide open. It seemed that she was under the influence of some kind of substance. A lady that worked at the store woke the girl up and asked her if she was ok. The girl said yes and drove off. Apparently, she nodded off again and almost killed herself. Thank goodness an innocent person wasn't in her way.

My heart goes out to the young woman. The car had flipped upside down and they had to cut the car to get her out. It took about 2 hours or more for the utility workers to replace the pole and restore power in the area. Being a one car accident, I can't imagine why she hit the pole and flipped. I hope she didn't have a heart attack, seizure, or something similar. Since the pole was split into, she had to have been going fast. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Thank God her injuries weren't serious, but WIND is right people do FLY through the city limit strip day and night.
