What's wrong with simply being careful & responsible when you drive? Ever heard of concentrating on what you're doing? How about slowing down a little & looking at what you're doing. Another case of human error & the nanny state supporters are calling for a stop light. Is there never enough gov't intervention?

I go that way every morning to carry my kids to school. It is a "VERY" dangerous intersection. With the speed limit being 60 mph, railroad tracks, bus traffic, and four lanes, a traffic light is needed. I guess it will take a fatality before anything can be done. As a community we need to be proactive and urge the powers that be to have a traffic light installed. There is a traffic light at DuPont that only has appox. 100-200 employees, whereas there are over 700 CHILDREN at the local school. May God bless the ones involved in this accident.

I know people need to slow down and think about what they are doing.. there has been plenty of times ive pulled to the 2nd stop to make a left turn going to Greenville and the car behind me doesnt want to wait for me to go so they pull up beside me ... then 1 of 2 things happen 1. There is someone coming from Kinston that wants to make a left turn there and they have to stay in the turning lane because the middle lane is blocked due to there being 2 cars there ... and now neither one of us can see because there is a vehicle blocking our view down the road and we have to chance it ... : / i sit there and let them go first just because its because of their stupidity that we are in this situation to begin with and i usually have my 2 small kids with me and i REFUSE to put their lives in danger due to this idiot not waiting and extra minute or 2 for me to get out of the middle ... orrrr 2. They try to pull out as soon as your pulling out and yall almost hit each other and its just a mess .. people need to slow down and let the first car get out of the way before "joining" them in the middle there : /

This is a very dangerous intersection, there needs to be a traffic light installed. I am not sure why there isn't one already, especially since the new school was built. I guess they, "the state", is waiting until there is a fatality.

It is right by the railroad crossing on 11 in Graingers. There was a car in the ditch that looked like it was either side-swiped or t-boned by the car that was sitting in the median.
