Company Announces More Jobs In Hertford County

A company building a plant in Ahoskie has announced it plans to add more jobs than anticipated.

The Enviva plant under construction in Hertford County will bring 60 more people on board when it opens, likely later this year. The company announced Monday it is increasing the production capacity of the wood-pellet manufacturing facility.

    Don't worry folks. When Nucor was rumored to be on the way in the 90's. It was the bomb. Literally. Red Apple Started closing at 10. restaurants closed. and waffle house said forget this. yes folks waffle house was coming to ahoskie. guess what. they didnt.
