Drug Bust Lands 5 Behind Bars

Several narcotics units joined together to take down a Pamlico County group suspected of dealing cocaine.

Officials arrested Tyree Jones, Dominique Woods, Abra Owens and Jessica Holland Thursday after officials seized about six and a half ounces of cocaine at Jones' home.

Jones lives in Reelsboro in Pamlico County.

A fifth person, Lori Banks, was arrested after attempting to purchase cocaine at the residence while the search warrant was being carried out. Banks was also charged with child abuse for bringing her six year old child to the drug deal.

The group of four were placed in the Pamlico County Detention Center on cocaine trafficking charges.

At 41 if you are taking your 6 year old with you to buy drugs then you should never get to see that kid again. She is not some younge kid that needs a second chance, she is a grown woman that has never been responsible for ANYTHING!

that little piece of paper called the constitution tends to slow things down a little bit. Allthough it would be nice to just go kick the door in and take em all to jail because someone in the community says they are selling dope there are rules that have to be followed. And yes there was an election in november, a new NARC came in last July and it looks like a few things are getting done. Cops can't do it without the community. Call in the information you have, report it and it will eventually get done......

Now how smart is that, going to buy drugs while the house is full of police? Hope the kid ends up in a good home with someone that is responsible.
