A Coast Guard rescue crew from the east was dispatched to rescue a woman who suffered a heart attack on a cruise ship off our coast.
A crew from Coast Guard air station Elizabeth City airlifted a 59-year-old woman from the Norwegian Breakaway Monday.
The ship was about 350 miles east of Cape Hatteras when the woman was lifted to the jayhawk helicopter.
The woman was taken to a hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. No word on her condition.
