Clouds will increase on Friday as a cold front moves southward out of Virginia. The front will stall across the area Friday causing a few showers or thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Northeastern communities may struggle to get out of the 60s but most locations should reach the middle 70s. The front will push to our south briefly on Saturday and bring slightly cooler temperatures and partly cloudy skies. The front will move north of us Saturday night ushering in warmer air for Sunday and Monday. At that time we could see highs in the lower 80s.
