Sunny skies will be replaced with more cloud cover and the risk for a few showers on Saturday as a weak cold front drops into the area. The front will move into eastern North Carolina during the day and that will lower afternoon temperatures into the middle to upper 70s, except cooler 60s along the Outer Banks. Rainfall will be generally light in most locations. A slight risk of showers will continue on Sunday as highs hit the lower 70s. Highs in the 70s will continue early next week.
