A cold front will push through eastern Carolina early Thursday bringing and increase in clouds and the threat of a few light showers. The front will be well offshore by Thursday afternoon as cooler air filters into the region. Afternoon highs will reach the middle 60s as skies become partly cloudy. Below normal temperatures will continue into the weekend with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Dry conditions are expected until late Sunday or early Monday.
