A suspect in a child sex offense case in Pitt County has been arrested in Richmond, Virginia.
Officials say 47-year-old Lannice Collins fled back in November after investigators asked him to take a polygraph test.
Collins was wanted in questioning in a string of reported sex offenses with a child that spanned three years.
A warrant has been out for his arrest. Officials found him in Richmond. He now awaits extradition back to North Carolina.
He is charged with 1st degree sex offense of a child.
