NEW INFO: More Charges Brought Against Child Sex Crimes Suspects

Two of three relatives arrested for sex crimes with children are now facing more charges in the case.

Leroy Jackson, 44, of Ayden, is now facing three felony drug charges. He is accused of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, selling cocaine, and delivering cocaine.

His son, Emmanuel Jackson, 21, faces two new felony counts each of first degree rape and first degree sexual offense.

The two were arrested in Pitt County Thursday, along with Leroy Jackson's sister, Vanessa Jackson-Wagner, 40. She is charged for having a relationship with her brother.

The three family members are accused of sex crimes against two children under the age of 10 who are related to them.

Lt. Paula Dance says the sexual acts with the children happened over a period of a year or more. She says there could be more arrests as they continue to investigate the case.

More charges and more arrests are possible as Pitt County deputies continue to investigate relatives accused of sex crimes with children. So far three members of the same family are facing multiple sex charges.

Emmanual Jackson, Leroy Jackson and Vanessa Jackson-Wagner are all being held at the Pitt County Detention Center under high bonds.

Leroy Jackson, 44, faces drug and child sex charges. He was arrested for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also faces 11 counts of first degree sex offense of a child relative, 11 counts of incest and 11 counts of conspiracy felony. His bond was set at $6,002,000.

Vanessa Jackson-Wagner, 40, is charged with 15 counts of sex act child abuse with a relative, 15 counts of incest and 15 counts of conspiracy felony. Her bond was set at $6 million.

Investigators say the incest charges stem from Leroy Jackson and Vanessa Jackson-Wagner, who are brother and sister, having a sexual relationship. Deputies says Leroy Jackson and Emmanual Jackson are father and son.

Emmanual Jackson, 21, faces three counts of first degree sex offense. He is being held under a $1.5 million dollar bond.

Lt. Paula Dance says the sexual acts with the children happened over a period of a year or more. She says they have two victims and there could be more arrests as they continue to investigate the case.

Dance says their investigation began earlier this summer and that the two victims are with other family members.

The three were arrested Thursday. One arrest was made after the sheriff's office surrounded a home on Jolly Road in Ayden. Another person was arrested just outside of Greenville. Another person was arrested on Jolly Rd. Thursday evening.

The sheriff's office says the victims are under the age of ten years old.

Pitt County deputies have surrounded a home on Jolly Road in Ayden and arrested one person for first degree rape of a minor and felony child abuse.

Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Christy Wallace tells WITN News that another person was arrested this afternoon outside of Greenville under the same charges.

Wallace says there could be more arrests pending in this case. She tells us the victims are under the age of ten years old.
