Lawmen in Carteret County have busted a tobacco shop for selling the synthetic marijuana known as spice.
The Carteret County Sheriffs Department and the Newport Police department raided the Tobacco Store on Highway 70 just before 5:00 p.m. Friday. That's in Courtesy Town Square near the Food Lion . Deputies took nearly 200 grams of spice. 40-year-old 'Mohd Reda Mohd Mari is in custody with spice and drug paraphernalia charges forthcoming.
