It's the 6th year Sienna College in New York has been sending students to volunteer for Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity. Tuesday they were putting baseboards and window molding in a home on Faith Lane. Kelly Patterson says this is her second year volunteering for Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity and says she hopes to return for her senior year.
"It's a great feeling to give back, and it's just awesome to help other people out who are less fortunate then us. I think that's why we did habitat. It's such a good way to provide a home for somebody that needs one," said student volunteer
The home the students are working on is for a mother and her 2 daughters. It's slated to be done sometime this summer.
