Car & Bulldozer Crash Sends Two People To The Hospital

Two people are in the hospital after a collision between a car and a small bulldozer in Lenoir County.

Troopers say both drivers were injured.

Trooper Zamora with Lenoir County Highway Patrol says Beth Mindor was driving a Ford sedan around 8:00 o'clock, which ran into a Bobcat on Highway 258 as the Bobcat was turning right onto Hullwood Road.

Mindor was airlifted to Lenoir Memorial Hospital and then was taken to Pitt Memorial.

The bobcat driver, Dusty McNeill, was taken to Lenoir Memorial.

Zamora says McNeill is from Augusta, Georgia and is in the area helping with tree and debris removal.

No one has been charged yet. Zamora is investigating if the Bobcat had proper lighting or reflectors or if Minder was driving too fast.

I saw the same bobcat on 258 a few hours earlier. No lights, and he was blocking the right lane. Several cars didn't see him until they were almost on top of him. Just saying...
