Camp Lejeune Marine Killed In Afghanistan

There's been another Eastern Carolina Marine killed in combat in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon says Lance Corporal William Crouse died Tuesday in the Helmand province. The 22-year-old from Woodruff, South Carolina was a member of the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune.

Crouse was the second Marine from Camp Lejeune killed in Afghan fighting within the past week.

I would still be sleeping safely if there were no American forces anywhere in the Middle East. This man died for nothing.

I don't know what to say except, I feel guilty. It is so easy to say Thank You and I am sorry to you and your family while you and others are over there giving your life so we can sleep safely. May God bless you and be with your family through this time. Prayers and thoughts to the family of this brave man
