Camp Lejeune Marine From Calif. Dies In Afghanistan

Military officials say a 20-year-old Marine based at Camp Lejeune has died in combat in Afghanistan.

The Defense Department says Cpl. Jordan Stanton of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., died Thursday during combat in Afghanistan's Helmand province.

Stanton was a member of the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune.

    I am so sorry fr the family's prayers and thoughts are with you ... Family's parent's etc... please talk to these young kids about joining the corp..please......they are just too sad..
