CMN Telethon Raises Over One Million Dollars

This weekend was your chance to help make miracles happen in Eastern Carolina and that's just what many of you did! A total of $1,160,851 dollars was raised during the 2011 CMN telethon.

The donations benefit University Health Systems Children's Hospital and the 29 counties that it serves. Every dollar you pledged stays right here in our area to provide programs and services to help sick and injured children in our own community.

This is our 26th anniversary and we want to thank everyone who participated and donated!

Had a great time volunteering for a worthy cause. And to those sorry individuals who pranked called and the people who cussed at my mom, who was taking plegdes, on the phone b/c the french open was not on, I want to say shame on you. Raising money for sick children is more important. And you should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope that never have to go through what theses parents have. But if you knew what they were going through you would understand.
