People captured amazing video on the coast as several waterspouts popped up.
Several waterspouts were spotted on Carolina and Wrightsville beaches Thursday around 10am that caught the attention of many vacationers.
It was a shocking site for folks vacationing at the beach watching a waterspout rip its way to shore, as seen in the attached video captured from a hotel room balcony that stirred up all the commotion
Umbrellas and boogie boards took flight in one waterspout, but the next thing was absolutely amazing. It lifted up roughly 20 feet of a walkway over the dunes and flung it into the air.
The New Hanover County area was under tornado warnings this morning after reports of the spouts coming ashore.
There were no reports of anyone injured.
